Don Mingo has been the farm manager here for over 30 years. An increasing amount of hard work and effort to pick coffees at peak maturation for quality production shows in this delicious cup.
This coffee also reflects the value of relationships to better farming practices, coffee quality and honor the farmers that grow it. People like Don Mainor, an Anacafe agronomist in zone 3, suggested ways to better renovate lands to increase production, resist leaf rust, and achieve cup quality at the same time. When farmers are financially able and supported through better market prices, they are encouraged to implement these professional suggestions and invest the attention their plants need to grow well, fight off diseases, provide a better harvest and produce a quality tasting crop.
